QYA X CAMP

a workshop led by Laura Wyatt O'Keefe

In December 2024 Quench Young Artists started our series of 'Behind the Scenes' visits. Over the next 6 months we'll visit local creative hubs and learn from artists, designers and makers. 

First up we had Laura Wyatt O'Keefe (Theatre maker and performer) with a drama workshop at CAMP. Loti who manages the space talked about the importance of queer spaces and answered our questions about events and production. Laura led some drama games and the group designed their own characters then built an identity for them with our extensive dress up box.

Thanks to CAMP for the space and delicious mocktails and thank you to Laura for a fun and informative session. We'll definitely be doing more drama as part of QYA in the future!
